Anybody have some bridesmaid dress suggestions?

So this is my dress:

And I'm needing some suggestions on BM dresses to compliment it. Originally, I wanted something vintage looking and floral printed (but that was before I had chosen my dress) and now that seems all wrong. Our "colors" are shades of blue... So can any of you point me in the right direction? Thanks@

  • I love the idea that you have. I don't think you need the BM dresses to be vintage since that would take away from your dress and the look of it. For shades of blue I would give each girl a shade (one would be turquouise, one sapphire, etc) and arrange them either from darkest to lightest or vice versa. I am letting my girls pick a style that they like as long as it is their designated color and 1-2 inches above or below the knee.

I wore a Watters bridesmaid dress (actually, their cheaper line Wtoo) for a wedding. The dresses were really high quality and tons of styles to choose from. Really classic looks and colors. The bride let us each choose our own style.

  • I love flower printed bridesmaid dresses. I think it's really different and with the look of your dress I think it would be beautiful.

<div>What about navy blue?  That would be lovely with the blush/pink color of your dress.</div><div>
</div><div>I think a brighter color of blue (cobalt, sapphire, etc.) may look harsh against the softness of the dress, but I could be wrong.</div>

  • How about something like THIS? The lace is a floral pattern, but the monochromatic color keeps it from being overwhelmingly patterned. There's also a more saturated blue of the same style, but I thought the muted steely blue was more vintage.

  • my first thought was a champagne color would love pretty, but I also like the Navy blue idea PP suggested, and I like the dress bunni mentioned as well.

<div>That is a pretty dress that can be worn again...  I may like that more than my navy blue suggestion earlier.  :)</div>

Thanks, Bunni! That was actually a dress I was considering, but, for some reason I thought it looked too casual.
