Guys tux colors

I'm starting to pick out tux colors and styles and am clueless. Only thing i have is I want my FI to wear orange with a gray tux ( fall wedding were everythng is centered around orange green brown) then the grooms men i wanted to wear  black tux and brown since my brides maids dresses are brown. My dad is wearing a black with camo vest and tie so if my FI dad and step dad want tuxs i was going to have them in black and green. If they wanted to match. 

Does this sound weird or do you think it would look odd. Since theres different color tuxs and vest am unsure of how it will look. Do i even need to worry about my FI dad and step dad or not. And my main worry black and brown not maching. Or will it look better if all the guys were in gray. 

I would like to point out the orange brown and green are dark colors not bright. Any suggestions?

Tuxes should always be black. And colored vests remember me of bad prom pictures. If you are going to pick a colored vest, stick with one color.

I will say that I have always been on the balck tux bandwagon, but when FI and I went with his brother (BM) to pick tux/get fitted they had a dark grey vera wang tuxedo that was absolutely gorgeous and the guys loved it.  Our colors are dark purples & lavendar, and so the guys are doing the grey tux w/ grey vest and a dark purple tie & pocket square.  It looks amazing.

Anyhoo, I think all your color combos are just too much and personally am not a fan;  Talk to your FI--make sure he is picking something HE wants and not you!  I like a lighter shade of grey w/orange, but not grey with brown.  My friend got married a few years ago--our dresses were brown and the guys wore dark brown w/ black and used the flowers to add color.  It looked beautiful.

erinlin - that is exactly what i want for our wedding.  charcol grey tuxes.  my bridesmaids dresses are plum and the flowers are fall colors (purples, oranges, greens, yellows), so I feel like black would look too Halloweenish.  Anyway, a question for you, what color shoes are your guys wearing?  black?
