Deployed and Frustrated Bride

My wedding isn't until December 16th but I am currently deployed and my fiance' will possibly deploy right after I get back; which will leave us with less than 2 months to prep for our wedding in a different state. I have 8 months until my wedding and I have a BM that won't respond to emails or fb messages, another BM that's trying to control my wedding details and stops responding when I basically ask her to back off (she always says "Well in MY wedding I would choose this dress".....last time I checked, I'm the one getting married. If I want long dresses for a WINTER wedding, what's the issue? I don't need a cold and sick wedding party), the venue I want is apparently "haunted" so I have family members freaking out so I have not even reserved the place yet, the Best Man throws hissy fits because he's not in "control" (he's a control freak.Kind of annoying but he's my fiance's bestfriend). Am I the only one who deals with this?

Half of my family/BP is over-the-top opinionated and the other half couldn't care less to the point of being annoying. It's a tough call but I think the over opinionated is worse. BUT, you have the additional stress of being deployed and not having much time to plan things. At the end of the day you just need to let it go in one ear and out the other and simply politely say, "thanks for your opinion. I'll consider it." Good luck!!

PS--As far as the haunted venue goes, I think that's pretty darn cool

Just tell her to think of it as a blessing from the Other Side. Not everyone can say that they had wedding guests from beyond the grave, right?
