Wednesday Accountability

B: One egg with slice of cheese (was on a bagel, FI made me breakfast, but I cannot eat the bagel)- 150
S: Coffee with creamer- 60
L: Salad with chicken, cheese, ranch, bww sauce and carrots- 345
D: Tonight we are having what we were supposed to have last night- 450

E: None, its a sheet of ice and supposed to get worse later on today. If FI gets home late I will pop in a JM dvd or something.

    L: salad with ham and italian dressing 328 cal
    S: apple with peanut butter 172 cal
    D: black bean quinoa salad and shredded chicken on a whole wheat tortilla 354 cal
    S: 2 caramels 64 cal

    E: 1 hour Zumba toning

    With the excercise I have 415 cals left - not sure if I am going to do somethign with them or not.

    B: a lot of coffee, scrambled eggs (one whole egg, one egg white) with diced ham and cheese.  Also had an english muffin.  366 Cal
    L: sliced chicken and swiss sandwich with horseradish mustard and a DDP
    S: oatmeal with dried fruit 205 Cal
    D: no plans yet.

    E: I have run club tonight and that starts at 6:30.  So I will have my shake to prep for that and oatmeal late when I get back.

  • My FI won't touch quinoa because it's "weird looking." The grocery store we go to has a new kind if quinoa polenta that I'm aching to try, but FI vetoed it and he does 90 percent of the cooking. I'll probably buy a roll and cook it while he's at his bachelor party. ;] B: Same latte and Greek yogurt, 270 cals L: Veggie protein, fruit, crackers and/or popcorn and cheese, approx. 550 cals D: ? Never know until FI makes it. Yesterday was dance and today is gym. Thanks for starting an Accountability thread, Stina. I'll try to pick it up tomorrow if no one else makes one. :]

    Protein should be used after the run, not before. It helps with muscle recovery and can also cause stomach cramps and whatnot.

    Yes! Otherwise do the protein before your afternoon fruit and eat the fruit before your run? Or just save the protein until after your run with your oatmeal.

     

  • Haha, I was so focused on the quinoa recipe that I forgot about the accountability...

    B: Muscle milk light protein bar and an apple: 235 cals
    S: Almonds: 170 cals
    L: Small turkey sandwhich w/baked chips at Schlotzsky's: 469 cals
    D: Maybe a lean cuisine or something from the store? I'm traveling for work this week, so it's hard to eat right :/

    Total: 874 calories, with about 400 cals left for dinner

    Hopefully will get a run in tonight too!

    D: soup, maybe. oooooooooooh I have butternut squash bisque at home... yup. doing that.

    E: does sitting outside in the 88 degrees for an hour sweating my butt off count? lol
    i'm cleaning and packing tonight, since i didn't clean last night. whoops.
