Couples wedding shower

My brother's soon to be wife doesn't live in the same town we do and their wedding is in a completely different town.  I was thinking of throwing a couples wedding shower in our hometown.  I've never been to a coed wedding shower.  Any thoughts and ideas would be a tremendous help.

    Are you looking to play games and stuff? If so, I would recommend things outdoors. My favorite couples shower that I went to had an "entertainment" theme, and everyone gave them things like board games, video games, restaurant gift cards, movie passes, etc. We didn't play any games, though. It was more like a BBQ with presents being opened. 
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
