Both seemed nice on the phone... I didn't choose Brooke in part because she would be on vacation, so instead of her and her sister, I'd have her sister and someone else, and I didn't like that idea.

I also googled monica kitta and pittsburgh wedding together to find some wedding hair she's done, and did the same for brooke, just to see if I generally liked their style.

Hmmm.. well i love Brooke and her sister Harbor. They did a great job on my hair and my 6 bridesmaids and flower girl. Plus they are SUPER quick. They got to my house on the day of my wedding around 945 and were done by 1130 with everyone! Also, I started getting my hair cut by Brooke a few months prior to the wedding just so I could get to know her better and she does a great job!  She's super easy to get in touch with too and is very responsive.

Now - I can't compare her to Monica though because I never got in contact with her. but just my two cents.. goodluck with your decision!

Brooke!!  Not only is she my regular stylist but she did my wedding hair (i'm on her website) and I absolutely love love love her!!  She'll even say that I'm her biggest fan!!

You won't be disappointed in choosing Brooke!!

I used Brooke for my wedding, so I am probably biased but I really do recommend her. Her & Harbor came to my hotel and they did a great job on everyone plus it was super quick which is nice!

I did talk on the phone with Monica a few times and she seemed very nice! I just liked that Brooke had a website with pictures so I could see her style. Once I had my trial, I was sold
