Help! Hair Up or Down?

I did my hair trial when I had a different dress (I'm not crazy, I ripped the first one!).   Now, I don't know if the hair goes with the new one.

Here's my dress:

Here's the original hair trial, to which I would be adding some clip in extensions to make the curls longer - also, where do you put a veil??:

But now, I'm thinking of going all up in a big ol' bun w/ a sparkly headband, like these:

so... what should i do?

  • Depends on what look you want to go for. I think the updo is a more sophisicate and traditional look. The down side swept look I think gives it a softer more romantic look. I don't think you can go wrong with either do.
  • The curls kind of resemble the dress in a way, how they're more flowy towards the bottom. They're very elegant. But the bun will look draw more attention to the dress (which is beautiful, btw!), and look more sophisticated, as Erika said. And as far as I know there's no "right" place to put a veil, it just depends on where you think it will look nice and how much you want it to cover.
