To numb you up, do not attempt to tough it out.

As mentioned in my good morning post, I was scared to be drooling at work, so I though I'd just tell her to go ahead and drill and fill. And then I regretted it for the next 40 minutes. Owie! I'm so ready to go home now!

    Unfortunately, since it's just past rush hour and I ride the bus in and out, I'm pretty much stuck here. I could take a 45 minute roundabout bus, but I just can't bring myself to waste that much time. I'll just sit here and pay for being vain :P

    Yep, I just popped some painkiller. I hope that takes care of it. Oh, and I'm scared of the heat from coffee, so I will soon be cranky without my daily dose of caffeine. I do hope I get to snark someone today :P

    Ugh, hope the pain goes away quicky! I agree with Molly- that is very B.A.!  Of course, I am a big wimp too. Tongue out

    Kim, sadly, I think I'm more scared of the big needle than the pain! I'd do almost anything to avoid a shot (which is probably why I've had a tattoo design picked out for over a year, still want it badly, and am too fraidy-cat to schedule an appt).

    ugh I hate needles so I'd probably suffer through the drill pain, too!  I think novacaine shots are so much worse than normal shots.  I once had to get 9 novacaine shots at once. 9! That ruined it for me :p

    Oh man, I've never had any painful dental work (other than braces), so I can't even imagine.  I hope you are feeling better already!

    Owwww!  I hope the pain goes away soon, yikes!

    My aunt and uncle are my dentists, and I always make them numb the shot area with a little bit of anaesthetic that they can rub on manually before the injection... it helps a bit with the scary Novocain needle.

    OMG Jenn, you are a BA, I can't even imagine getting a tooth drilled w/o novicane.  Can we make NewtoPGH quotes like the Chuck Norris ones Wink
