Did people write thank you cards to their bridal party or just give the gifts?

We did Hallmark cards and a gift to thank them for participating as well as a separate thank you card to thank them for their gifts.

Ditto this. If they give you a wedding gift, you should definitely write them a thank you for that. The card we gave the with their gift at the RD was more of a "thank you for standing up with us at our wedding/you mean a lot to us, etc."

We gave thank you cards for their gifts that were completely seperate from the bridal party gifts that we gave to them.  If that's what you are asking.

We just gave them their gifts at the RD and thanked them for being a part of our day in person.

If they gave a gift for the wedding we most definitely sent a thank you note for the gift.

sorry I wasn't specific. I meant with the gift you give them for being in the BP, of course they should geta thank you card if they give us a gift.

We gave them thank you cards for being in the party with their gifts. Then when I sent out thank you cards for gifts I said thank you again. We had two people in wedding party that didn't give us wedding gifts (not a big deal I was familiar with their financial situations) so theirs just said thank you for being in the wedding party and being there for us on our wedding day.
