My wedding was more than I could have ever dreamed of! Things were not going the way I wanted the day before but everything worked out in the end. This will be a long post so just bear with me.
The thursday before the wedding my bridesmaids came in town. I decided not to have a maid of honor since my original maid of honor did not do anything that she promised to do. She also ended up bringing some random male with her and thought he was going to hang with us all weekend, but my other 2 bm's made up for everything she didn't do. That thurday night they gave me a suprise dinner at Shout and then we went to Opera night club where we had a private section and I had a ball!!!
Friday morning they took me to the spa and we all got massages. We then went for brunch (minus the 1 bm who went shopping with that random male). We then went to the nail salon and then it was on to rehearsal. This is where the bad starts. My mom didn't want my dad to sit on the front row with her so he agreed to sit on the 2nd row. He then asked my coordinator if his girlfriend of 10 years could sit on the row with him. My mom went OFF. she said she wasn't coming to the wedding and then preceeded to go off on the coordinator, me and my brother. AT the rehearsal dinner she wouldn't talk to anyone unless she was saying something hurtful. I think I cried the entire dinner. In the middle of the dinner a group of males came in with a bunch of liquor and a dj. I was wondering what was going on. They said they had also booked this room for this night. Come to find out I had booked the room for my wedding day and not the day before (FAIL). Luckily they let us stay to finish eating and I was so grateful. I was so exhausted from fighting with my mom that I went to sleep about 11 pm.
Saturday my daughter woke me up bright and early ready for the wedding. my mom came to my room and apologized and said that she would not ruin my day. 2 of my Bridesmaids minus the one with the man came to my suite to have breakfast. My makeup artist and hairstylist came to get us ready and by 4pm we were off to the venue. I was not nervous at all until this point and I started shaking like a leaf, lol. The venue was beatuiful. My planner really did her thing! It was more than I could ever dream of, and the rain held off until after the reception started. everyone said I drug my dad down the aisle because I was walking so fast (I was nervous!) My husband chose the song that I walked down the aisle to and it was beautiful. The son is "Almost Lose It" by Trey Songz. If you haven't heard it please google or youtube it asap!! WE partied!!! our reception was due to end at 11pm and the eneded up having to kick us out around midnight! We didn't allow people to take pics during the ceremony so i will post pro pics later but these are just a few pics that people texted me!
