Checks!!! Have you heard of Gold Buyers??

Paid off our venue today!! Whoop whoop!! I'm glad to have such a big ticket item crossed off. Now we can put our energies into other things.

I used my two days of playing hooky and got TONS of things done. One of which was finding a veil. I love it it is exactly what I had been picturing.





OAN, I was doing some spring cleaning and found a stash of my old gold jewelry (earrings with no mate, stuff from exes, etc.) Of course, I'm not trying to hold on to anything from the past, so I took it to a nearby gold buyers store and lt's just say that they were the answer to my wedding budget prayers!! Have you ladies ever hear do them or used their services?

Love that veil super cute on you honey....aww and BIG CONGRATS ON YOUR VENUE CHECK that must be a big weight off your shoulders...and i heard of them i just never had enough old jewerly to take to them to get any real money LOL...but i heard they were pretty good

Congrats on the check !! Yes I have used a cash for gold store I was able to get some WR things taken care with that money. I wish I had some more gold too lol

I wish I had some things as well.  I need a wedding budget boost, but it will be ok.  I am going to look around like you did and see if there is anything around that I can get rid of.  I know I have a class ring or two I can get rid of. I dont need those memories!  That's what facebook is for...lol...

Quick question...how much did you get rid of in order to make it worth while. I have a few things I am just not sure if I have enough to do anything with.

Beautiful veil!! Girl, yes to the Gold Buyers. My FI brought an oz of gold  on ebay for like $100 we took it to a gold buyer and got $1800 talk about a profit!!!

Love the veil! We have those stores everywhere around here and I did take advantage of them a couple of times.

They go by weight. so it doesn't even really need to be lots of items. If you have something that weighs a decent amount (hello chunky 90's jewelry) then you might do really well.
