So...... The other day I get a text asking about preRSVP. I was like ok cool this is just one person and his wife so I should be ok. Boy was I wrong. Apparently people have been sitting back waiting on my invitations for months. I now have 15 RSVP yes's besides me, FI and our kids. This was my side of the family. I was talking to his grandma the other day and apparently his side is waiting as well. Here I was thinking I was going to be early by sending in June. I guess I better get on it ad start assembling. What sucks is now I have people asking about invitations who aren't even invited

    Tell Them I'm Sorry For The Inconvenience, But The Way My Wedding Is Set Up...Lol No Forreal I Had That Problem And Just Told Them That Due To Budget Reasons We Could Only Invite Family And Close Close Friends. If The Budget Allows For More Then We'll Definitely Let You Know. Which Saved Us Money Cause Some People Were Like Oh I'll Pay Dor My Plate Or They Just Said They Understand And Left It. Good Luck.!

    Some people get anxious about getting invitations and want them as soon as they know about the wedding but I dont think that should put extra pressure on you to send them out earlier. I think when you send them out extremely far in advance it leaves room for people to forget the date or end up having scheduling conflicts even though they've already rsvp'd "yes" When ppl asked me about invitations I told them when they could expect to receive them so that they'd stop waiting for it to come 6 months early lol.

    I agree with other post... Because when I sent out my invites.. I started getting some really quick back in the mail..

    Then.... they just died off.. now I am 3  weeks out from my RSVP deadline date.. and now I am having to remind people.. Don't tell me you are coming.. but you haven't sent your RSVP back.. how hard is it to do that...

    I said all this to say... yes you will have some respond quickly.. but then you will have the others that won't and then you will  be stressing yourself out more wondering why you sent the invites out so early..

    I am over here dying laughing at the way my wedding is set up. Invitations won't go out any earlier than I planned, I was just shocked that people were actually waiting for them.
