Since it's a bit slow today...
FI's uncle owns a big guitar store on the South Side. He was working there last week when Russell Crowe came in, but he was with another customer and Russell was just walking around the back of the store, looking around. The customer FI's uncle was with was a young guy, looking to buy a new banjo, and the two of them were playing the different ones in the store, trying them out. It comes time to make the purchase, and it turns out the young guy isn't able to afford any of the banjos, and he goes to leave.
Russell had been watching them play, sees what happens, and leans over to FI's uncle and pulls out a wad of cash to pay for the kid's favorite banjo, then runs after the kid who had just walked out the door, and goes "Hey! You forgot your banjo!"
I've heard a lot of things about Russell's bad temper, but this was such a nice story it makes me change my opinion a bit
