Venue - Seacoast NH/Southern Maine

Hello! 

I am having the hardest time trying to find a venue to fit my specific wedding needs!! What we would really like to have is a later ceremony wedding and reception. The ideal reception would be one with high top tables, a few low ones for the older folks, and strickly heavy appetizers. No sit down meal. I have yet to find a venue that can do this. If anyone has any ideas of venues please let me know, I am desperate.!!

    Try posting on your local board. Look in the lefthand menu and open the dropdown for "Local Wedding Boards." This is an international board.

    PS: A couple things in your post concern me. When you say "later," what do you mean? If you only want to host appetizers, then make sure your reception doesn't fall at a traditional meal time. If it's at dinner time, then you should serve a meal.

    Also, it sounds like you're only planning on having seating for elderly guests. Even at the reception, you should have chairs available for all of your guests. Hobnobbing in a dress and heels for a few hours with no place to sit sounds rough, no matter how old you are.
