Send off ideas?

Our send off from our reception will probably be 11:30pm. I was originally thinking of having sparklers but I want something a bit different. I don't want to do glow sticks.

Any ideas for a nice looking night time send off?

We're doing biodegradable confetti.  It washes away with water and comes in lots of nice colors.

It'll be to dark to see confetti.

I like the sparkler idea...want it for mine, but we cant because of fire hazard (dry, farmland)
