HI ladies, I'm in need of your expertise. For those of you who took a Confirmation name, did you have it printed on your invitations? I feel like this is the only opportunity I'll really have to use my first, middle, and Confirmation names, so I wasn't sure if this is typically done or not. How about your last names (yours and FI)? Our parents names will not be on our invitations, if that helps. Thanks in advance!
Re: Invitation Question-Confirmation Name
i thought you had to take a confirmation name?
Thank you!
[QUOTE]I recall a poster who was, I believe Vietnamese, told me that culturally, they included their confirmation names along with the others. That's the only time I've ever heard of it. Unless it is something that is commonly done in your circle/family/culture/whatever, I think people would be confused. I know I would be, and this is coming from someone who knows people who consider their confirmation patrons (and in one case, baptismal name) as part of their names/identities.

It was you! I couldn't remember your exact username, but I definitely remember you, because you were also on my month board, though I wasn't a big poster over there. Thanks for coming over and sharing -- I love that your faith is such a big part of your culture.
You should pop in and say hi when you visit every few weeks. :) Also, I see that you have a little on on the way. *hugs and Congratulations! Being a mom is just the best!
