Ladies, this board welcomes differing opinions and productive discussions. However, it seems prudent to remind everyone (regular or otherwise) to be civilized in our dealings with one another.
We've tried to create an environment on CW where any member or lurker can feel confident posting without fear of ridicule or other attack. I'm not referring to any specific posts, and today seems much calmer than yesterday. I also understand that certain topics such as the DOMA and the Catholic church's stance on homosexual marriage can arouse a flurry of emotions and it gets hard to "keep your cool" when you feel someone is WRONGWRONGWRONGSOVERYWRONG. This does not, however, give anyone a free pass to be a jerk, for lack of a better word. When we're sitting around fighting with, baiting, and bullying other members we are creating an environment that makes many posters uncomfortable. The intention of this board is to help Knotties prepare for their Catholic weddings, and if they are scared to post, we can't help them.
