Just got married two weeks ago and since I relied heavily on reviews I found on the knot, I wanted to share my reviews. I was pleased with all my vendors except my hotel choice! Here they are:
Venue- Pearl Steeet was awesome! They took care of everything including decor which was great for us since we were planning from out of state. The food was awesome, the space was beautiful (4 th floor), and the staff, especially Kristina and Carrie were great! Wouldn't have gotten married anywhere else!
DJ- Biggs Sound and Entertainment out of Corfu. He works with pearl street frequently so knew the people there and the set up. Worked closely with us to get all our favorite songs playing all night. He kept the dance floor packed from start to finish for six plus hours. He made us a CD with all our announcement songs and must plays. His personality was fantastic. Can't recommend him enough!!
Photographer- Pamela Choate Photography out of Attica. She, her husband, and her daughter in-law did out wedding. They were great! We had a pretty crazy fun wedding party but they hung with us, read our crowd and did a great job of capturing our personalities. They make a point to get at least a half-hour of just bride and groom to make sure you get shots alone and just spend some time together. They are very artistic and try to set up the perfect shots but also got lots of candida. I haven't gotten all my pics yet but from the few Sshe sent, I'm super excited!
Flowers- Elaine's flowers shoppe in Depew. Flowers were exactly what I asked for (stargazer lilies and bright pink tulips). They were the most gorgeous flowers ever! They were very responsive to all my phone calls, confirmations, and additions over the course of wedding planning and I thought really affordable
Pie- we did pie in lieu of cake from Renee's in Depew. They were so affordable and delicious! Everyone loved the pies and pearl street did a great job displaying them. Only ting is that someone needs to pick them up, they don't deliver and they only take cash.
Embassy hotel- the only thing I was not pleased with over the whole day was the hotel. They were not accommodating for a wedding party at all. I called several times to check about early check-in and on day of I was told my room would b ready at 1pm bu hen I arrived at 2:30 it still was not ready. They were really unresponsive to housekeeping issues and unfortunately my husband and I arrived to a dirty room on our wedding night. Only good thing was hing salon in hotel. For th price, ths hotel was not worth it.
Cappellos Avant - everyone's hair was fantastic but they did have some trouble getting all nine girls done. It took almost two hours as they only did three or four a a time. Schedule early!
Giorgio's limousine out of Depew - for the price these guys were great. We rented the 24 person bus for a party of 16 and it was perfect amount of room. They were on-time, knew their way around, and chilled our alcohol for us. Affordable too!
