Engagement picture ideas?

hey ladies-so I'm wondering if anyone has any unique ideas for a cute engagment photo, that goes along with mine and my fiance's theme....he loves to hike/rock climb, etc. I'm trying to think of some way we can show this in our pics. Any ideas?

     You must be *so* excited planning your engagement photos! On top of finding a location, search photographers that you may want to choose for your wedding as well. Some photographers or companies will offer the engagement photos at a discount, or as part of a bundle if you go with them for your wedding as well! 

     My fiance and I are both big 'outdoorsy' people too. We love hiking and camping, & also wanted to incorporate that into our engagement photos. :) We did all outdoor pictures at a few different locations. Your best bet is to decide where you would want them & go from there. We did ours at a park overlooking one of the great lakes, 2 other different lake locations, and one that required a hike into the woods! Decide what you would like, then research where you may find it. The closer, the better, as they may charge travel time depending on how far you want to go. (Good thing to look into, or inquire about when making phone calls). I'm not too familiar with upstate NY, but from what I gather, there are definitely some beautiful location options to choose from!

    Congrats on your engagement! We got engaged on a hike at our favorite state park, so that's where we did our engagement pictures, too.  Is there a state park or another scenic location nearby where you could do your wedding pictures?
