Oahu Wedding and reception!

Hi ladies!

I'm new to this board and newly engaged!

My fiancee and I are planning an Oct 2012 wedding in Oahu (half way between my family in Sydney and his in NY).

We both really like the look of Turtle Bay and were wondering if anyone had their wedding there? We have a relatively small bugget of $15000 for about 100 people.  We are concerned about the noise curfews because we love the look of the outdoor receptions. 

Otherwise we are looking at a different area of Oahu, at the Kahala.  Anyone have experience there?

And also finally we're looking at the Koolau Ballrooms and bus-ing guests there and back from Waikiki.

Just looking for any reviews, advice etc.

I'm really excited but also, reaaally overwhelmed haha.

Hi!  I am trying to make a 100 person reception work with a $15,000 budget.  Were you able to pull off your budget? I'm looking at many of the same venues as you, and I would greately appreciate any advice or insights you have.
