Congrats to all my fellow bridetobe's! I'm hoping you guys can help me out. We are wanting to have our wedding in the fall and mt. Nebo seemed to be the perfect location for my rustic wedding. However, all the Saturdays are book. So, we have a Friday in October booked but we are worried about the time crunch you have to be out of Nebo with everything cleaned by 10 pm.

So that leads me to my question. Do you know of any venues for a rustic wedding/reception that doesn't exceed 400. There will probably be alcohol and loud music so that is something to consider too. We would also like to stay within a 30 minute drive to russellville.

Also, I need referrals on catering and photography. The cheapest photographer I've found starts around 900.

Check out Rebecca Beck Photography. She is incredible.

For wedding/reception check some campgrounds, like Gulpha Gorge Campground in Hot Springs. Its gorgeous in the fall, and has an amphitheatre with seating. I believe it is $100.

Pick a different location for reception because they will not allow alcohol. Try Catherine's Landing? Also in Hot Springs. Rustic. On the lake. Pavillion free of charge with lodging which starts at $30 per night.

Consider a different area then Nebo if it is not providing all the options you need. Try Petit Jean or Devil's Den as well.

Barn at Twin Oaks was over priced IMO.  Do you live in the LR area? If so, An Enchanting Evening is really neat.  http://www.anenchantingevening.com/ and the view is fantastic.  It's actually in Roland.  Also, there's Bo Brook Farms (also in Roland).  My wedding is at Hidden Valley Berry Farm in Ferndale.  They don't have a website or a Facebook page even.  I'm not sure if you're looking for a more mountain-like setting or what.  I would check out An Enchanting Evening first.

As far as locations go, did you check the Dardanelle State park or the Russellville marina? They both have multiple locations to get married. As far as a photographer, Cindy Jones does a lot of photography in the area for local businesses and also does wedding photography. I have seen some of her work and it is good.
