Well, I'm back with a little recap of our amazing wedding day! It was so perfect I couldn't have asked for anything more! I am so glad we had a small wedding (there were 28 of us total), and that we took such a laid-back approach to all of the planning. Everyone kept telling us how relaxed we looked and how it was so nice how simple everything was. The food was somehow even better than when we had our tasting, the cake turned out amazing, and all the sun came out for the first time in weeks, haha! I don't regret doing my own hair and makeup, and getting ready with my FI (now husband!!) in the morning: it was so nice to spend that bit of time together before everything got more hectic.
My number one piece of advice to everyone would be not to worry about the details once everything has been planned: don't worry any more now and don't worry on the day. Everything will fall into place!
Also, I think it is really important to remember to eat during the day (I only ate a bit of toast early in the morning and was starving by dinner time at 5) and drink plenty of water (I was a bit better with that)! And go to the bathroom before the ceremony because once you get out there you might not have a chance to for a while!
I don't have any pictures yet, but I will share some as soon as I can! It was truly a lovely day and we were both so happy the whole time.
