What an awesome last weekend before our wedding I just had! My MOH flew in from NYC on Friday, and just the two of us spent the night at a casino here in the Twin Cities. Then on Saturday, we went back to my house and started getting ready around noon. She & my FI would not tell me anything about what they had planned for me, so I was honestly a little nervous! My only stipulation was that I didn't want to go clubbing or go on any scavenger hunt type things - I am a 30-year-old bride and I didn't want a 21-year-old bachelorette party
Anyway, around 2, a bunch of friends came over, they gave me some Bachelorette gear to wear - a sash, a little tiara with veil, and some fake bling ring. Then there was a knock at the door and I could see out the little half-window that it was a guy in tux. Someone made a joke about it being a male stripper, but thankfully no - it was a limo driver. We went around to 2 local breweries and got to try a bunch of local microbrews, which is right up my alley. We went to dinner at a German Pub type restaurant/bar and were having so much fun there we ended up staying there all night. We made our way back to the hotel, opened up my gifts (much giggling was done given the drinking we'd all been doing!) and then went to sleep. It was the perfect close to my days as a single gal and it has just made me even more excited for the actual wedding this weekend!
