Cant Focus at Work

Hi GIrls,
So... I have zero focus right now!!!! Ahhhhh I need something to distract me.. all I want to do is talk about the wedding... and I dont want to drive my co-workers nuts!!!! So.... how are you all today? Which part of the wedding are you the most excited to see come alive? I am really excited to see my reception area. I finalized the table settings and the draping last Sat, and I cannot wait to see it all come together.

I feel you! I'm happy I had yesterday off for a state holiday, and only 3 work days this week! I think I am most looking forward to my flowers. I love orange, and all of them are going to be orange! So I can't wait

I am so with you. And I have something urgent due that I'm just not writing! (luckily, this author apparently likes writing their own descriptive copy so I'm going to just tweak what she writes....shouldn't take me too long)

I think I'm most excited to see the reception hall all done up. I think it's going to look really pretty and classic but with our own touches of fun to it. Light blue hydrangeas, Ivory table cloths, navy bows on the chairs, votive candles and our own wine bottle table numbers. it should be gorgeous.

That and I'm excited to see FI standing at the altar. I've seen the suit and all but not all put together with the tie. He's going to look so dapper I can't stand it!

We found out over the weekend that FI can take a few days off so we do get to go on a honeymoon!! Now I am trying to find the best prices to book our flight and car rental - which I am failing miserably at!

I'm looking forward to the shipment of flowers due next Friday and to see how we're going to arrange them on Saturday.

I'm really nervous about looking good in my dress. My MOH took some pictures of me during the last fitting and they are not flattering in the LEAST. I'm hoping it's just because they were crappy cell phone pictures and not because I look like a giant whale in my dress. I have never had second thoughts on that dress throughout this whole process, but now I'm wondering if I should have gone with a different type of dress.

I'm also interested to see what our reception space looks like all done up. It's pretty plain, but elegant. We're not doing anything fancy other than centerpieces of cut flowers and votive candles. White china, white linens, white walls. We're not doing chair sashes or anything, either, and the centerpieces are going to be pretty plain. I'm hoping it looks as good as it does in my head!

I can't focus either! I cannot stop shopping on Etsy for more bridesmaids gifts! This wedding is taking over my mind, and I still have 25 days to go!

I know what you mean! I should be listening to recordings, which I am...kinda. Doesn't help one of the programs is running soooooooooooo slow. So I'm on here and Facebook talking to my MOH and planning my bachelorette parties.

I am most excited about seeing the ceremony and reception decorations. The woman who owns the venue does all the decorating. I've seen her work before on the times we went to the venue, but I cannot WAIT to see my colors decorating the place!!! And yes, seeing the look on my FH's face when he sees me walking down the aisle!

Von, I'm totally with you - the cell phone pics at my last fitting are TERRIBLE.  But it was also 9 am on a Saturday, no makeup, and a frizzy ponytail.  I tried everything on last Friday for a final run through and still felt like I looked HUGE.  Only my parents were around when I did this and they, of course, told me I looked great and not fat.  I think what is getting me down is FI lost 50 lbs over the past 6 mths and I lost NONE.  FI doesn't seem to care, but it's annoying when everyone is so excited over his weight loss and I'm still feeling ugly.

Today is my last day at work. I busted my butt to make sure I was caught up before I took two weeks off and... now I've got nothing to do today. Which makes it worse since I have NOTHING TO DO on the last day I'm working :P

I can't focus either, between frantically searching for a wedding cake since our bakery just closed, the wedding coming up and my new obsessive habit of googling everything I do to make sure it is safe for the baby I am not really working at all!  I still have 9 work days left

 So relieved to know I am not the only one. Positive my co workers are sick and tired of me talking about the wedding. My clients have been so sweet and excited for me.
The funny thing is one of my co workers step daughters in getting married the Saturday and my wedding is next Saturday.

I am most excited about my 2 sons (14 & 16) walking me down the aisle. Secondly finally seeing the concept that is in my head come to reality, Really, really am looking to seeing the room all put together!!!!!
