What is your man wearing?

What is your FI wearing to the wedding? A suit, tux, slacks and a button down? We just got FI's tux in from Men's Wearhouse last night. He's not wearing the vest, just the pants, jacket, ivory shirt and an orange tie we bought him. It looks fine, but not amazing. The pants are nice, but the jacket is slightly big and looks a little bulky. But if we go smaller, it will be too small and tight in areas that make it uncomfortable for him, so we're kind of stuck. I guess that's what you get for renting!

We rented tux's from Men's warehouse too.
FI will have a black jacket w 2 buttons, Black shirt and pants, White vest with paisley back and white tie. I cant wait to see him all dressed up!

We're doing three piece suits in midnight blue.  Ivory shirt and vest, special tie that we searched FOREVER to find, black shoes. I'm so excited tos ee it!

We did the Mens Warehouse Vera Tuxes in Charcoal.  We did black vests, ties and pocket squares though.  Just like on the mannequin.

We also went to Men's Warehouse. He's wearing the Vera Wang Black. We didn't want to go that way originally, but the material is breathable and it's an outdoor wedding in FL...so we went with it. So it's black tux, black tie (wouldn't wear the bowtie...), black vest and white shirt. He's trying his on today with his sister/wedding planner, so I won't see the full look till wedding day!

ETA: He also got the pocket square but can't remember what color...white I think...

My guy is wearing a black tux, with a white shirt (with black buttons) and a black bow tie. He's going to look so handsome, I can't wait!!

Ok- so my FI is wearing the Vera in black too, with an ivory shirt to match my ivory dress. Do you think he should be in white shirt with that?? And does your man's jacket fit well, like, does the shirt sleeves pop out a little bit under the sleeves? I'm making FI go back in tonight because I just think the coat is too bit and I think the ivory looks not great... but will the white on him look bad near me, since I'm ivory??

I remember the salesman telling us that the Vera Wang Black had a slimming effect so we should go a size bigger. He tried on the jacket months ago and it was a little long in the arms, but that's normal for him. I can't really remember much as he tried it on months ago and my memory just isn't going back that far right now.

My FI is wearing his black suit that he already owns, red shirt and black tie. We decided not to rent or buy anything new since he already has something black.

We bought a tan suit from JC Penney and had it tailored to fit him nicely.

FI bought a charcoal three piece suit, ivory shirt, tie/cufflinks/pocketsquare in green.
We got the suit altered for arm length (the long isn't long enough and they don't make extra long in the brand we bought) and the guy tailoring it said if he didn't know better he'd have thought it was bespoke since it fit so well.

This is what my FI is wearing.  It's Calvin Klein from Al's Formal Wear.  The other guys will have a blue vest and tie

We used the half off coupon from David's Bridal and got him a new well tailored black suit. It's a Calvin Klein.
He thought about a tux but I convinced him to get a suit so he could own it and use it later.

Orange I would keep him in ivory to match your dress.

Yeah, FI looks great, but bulky in his - I think it's just because it's a tux.  We are not used to seeing them dressed like that.  Your FI will look great

Adawn- actually switching it to white I think. The ivory looks really bad, so I don't care if it matches me or not at this point, I want him to look good! My dress is such a light ivory, and you barely see his shirt, so white should work! I'm so irritated though, I forgot to save my david's bridal coupon for men's wearhouse, so had to pay full price for FI tux! erg.

A white shirt on him with you in ivory should look fine. That's what we're doing, too.

However, if he's not wearing a vest, he should have a cummerbund, something to finish off the waistband, since it's a plain waist. That should make a big difference, actually.
