My marriage license finally made it to the court system, it's in there now, and my name has legally been changed through social security! Crazy!! I am loving calling him my husband!

And I just wanted to say a big congrats to everyone getting married this upcoming weekend, as well as last weekend too. I'm loving looking at everyone's pictures :p We all need to stay on this board for the next 2 months at least so we can all share our professional pictures when we get them back!!

    Congrats! I just started filling out the paperwork for social security. Just waiting for the marriage license to be filed. My SIL was my photog and she's already working on the pics now. She's gone through about 250-300 out of 1000, so I'm super excited to see what she has done!

    Hooray! That's so exciting! I'm waiting to officially change my name until I have to renew my passport in a year or so, but I am already going by it socially. :)

    And yes, I agree let's all stay around to share pictures. I can't wait to see them all! My photographers were soooo quick with their turnaround, they've already edited them all (see link in siggy), and today we got our discs in the mail! It will still be a while for the album though.

    Congrats! I've changed the beneficiary on my retirement accounts and updated my W-2's to married, but I'm still waiting on the certified copy of the marriage certificate for name changing. I can't wait to change everything. Right now, only Facebook has the married name. It seems so weird not to have my name any more, but it's a little exciting. The guys at work today had fun trying to figure out how to pronounce it. They all came up with something different--and wrong!

    Yah it's been weird!! But I'm keeping my maiden name as a  middle name so that is making it easier, so really I can still sign by both I guess. I'm keeping my maiden at work, though I had to change everything legally with personnel. Did the DMV today too so it's all done except random stuff like banks, insurance, etc. Good times!!!
