FI's only "chore" is doing the laundry.  Guess what he lost?  Yup.... the bra I had to buy to go under my wedding dress. I tore the entire apartment apart today and couldn't find it.  I was supposed to have my final fitting today and I had to cancel it because how can I have a fitting if I don't have the bra?  I called FI at work (which made him mad, but oh well) and he said he didn't know where it was.  I was so stressed out and ticked off that I started crying and hung up on him.

He comes home from work and instead of coming to talk to me, or offering to help me look for it, he gets on the computer to play games.  SERIOUSLY?  We're leaving in 8 days and I don't have a dress because he lost my bra and he's playing games????  So I lit into him, he looked for 3 hours and still no bra.  Because I'm plus sized I had to order the bra online, so I go online to order a second one and have it overnighted, telling FI that it's coming out of HIS money, and I find out that this particular bra ships directly from the manufacturer so it can't be overnighted.  I have no idea when it will arrive - most likely after we leave, since I think the last one took about 2 weeks to get here.  Awesome.  I guess I'll just have to pick up my dress and pray that the seamstress has some sort of 6th sense in terms of making the cups smaller. 

I'm so mad I just want to cry.  Or break stuff.  I can't decide which one.

Oh no! I'm sorry you have to deal with this. Do you have a Norstroms nearby? They carry big cup sizes and Lindasonline.com overnights although the 2days shipping is more reasonable. Or it may turn up the moment you stop looking or buy another one. Good luck.

Have you checked all of his clothes? Maybe he tossed everything together and it was stuck with something else? My fingers are crossed that you will find it!

I would also check Lane Bryant, if you have one close by. They have amazing bras!! That is where I got my strapless for the dress.

I've checked every single free-standing store in a 50 mile radius.  The problem isn't the cup size - I'm actually not that big up top, believe it or not.  The problem is that my dress is a V-neck so the bra needs to plunge down, and it also needs to be very low in the back.  I also have a bigger band size than most stores carry.  I can shop at Avenue, Lane Bryant, etc but none of them had the style I needed.  Online really is my only option for a bra that will work with this dress, and even then it took me ordering (and sending back) 4 different ones before I found one that worked.  *sigh*

OK, back to tearing this place apart.  As I tell my 5 year old when she can't find one of her toys, "It didn't just grow legs and walk away.  It's here somewhere."

I'm so sorry.  Have you tried wedding dress stores that do in-house alterations?  The store where I bought my dress had a million different types of bras, including the one I got which is plunging and low in the back.  Good luck!

I found it.  It was on the kitchen chair that nobody sits in, pushed in under the table.... exactly where every other sane person keeps their bras. 

*sigh*  I'm pretty sure this wedding is going to make my hair fall out.

Final fitting rescheduled for 36 hours before we have to get on a plane.  Keeping my fingers crossed.  Thanks for all the help and support.  (No pun intended.  lol)
