Bridal Shower Location help for BM

Good Morning Ladies!

I am an old married gal who planned an awesome wedding several years ago with the help of this board.  Now, I am helping to plan a shower and would appreciate any suggestions that you could share.

The reception is at the Renaissance on August 11.  I am waiting for the bride to give me a count for the shower, but I am guessing about 30-40ish.

At this point, I think we are looking for a package type of thing more so than a DIY/BYO.  One BM suggested having it at the Rennaissance, and another suggested the Chadwick (which is where my reception was) and  I am looking into both.

Please share any other places that you think are worth looking into!  Also, I don't recall timelines, so for an August 11 wedding, I was thinking late June.....is that about right?

    Did you have a location area you needed to keep it in?  Also I would suggest early to mid June so people are not buying/giving two sets of gifts so close together.

    The bride lives north of Pgh, but is from the east of Pgh so we are looking to stay close to the city area....probably nothing too far south (beyond South Side), but north or east would work well including Shadyside, Sq Hill.
