Is your wedding at Westminster Preserve at Armstrong Farms?

They built a huge hideous monstrosity of a house in the field. It is right in the view from the big barn door. Ruins the entire feeling of being in the country with nothing around, Which was the whole reason we rented the farm.  I am so Pissed off that they never told us about the plans to build. I just thought anyone else who is having a wedding there might want to know.

i didn't realize they had to check with you before constructing a building on their property. interesting.

No, They don't have to check with anyone, but it would have been nice to know before I paid several thousand dollars to have my wedding in a secluded area only to find out it is no longer secluded. They could have let their customers know they were building before they destroyed the view I rented the place for.

I'm over at the Fieldstone there.  I was just there in January but wasn't over that way.  When I head up in the spring, I'll have to check it out.  Yeah, they should've said something so maybe yinz could have chose one of the other barns.  Hope it doesn't ruin the day too much....many people will probably be eating and dancing in the barn so hopefully it won't be too bad.  But I see where you're coming from.
