Entrance Music with Lyrics

Here are my ideas for the bridal party and us to walk down the aisle to. Please let me know what your thoughts are.

I love "Everything"!  Great song.  Low key, the words aren't too obtrusive.

"Marry Me" is nice, it's common these days, the lyrics are a lot more obvious, so if you're going for discreet kind of words, I wouldn't pick this one.

Personally "This I Swear" reminds me of high school, and it's not my favourite, it's kind of cheesy to me.

Personally I don't like the idea of lyrics, but if you like it go for it! I'm not really a fan of any of the songs though.

I walked down the aisle to music with lyrics and it worked out perfectly. We also had a pianist for other music on hand so she was near the CD player and when it was time she just cued the music down and faded it out. It sounded like it was meant to do that. Of course we practiced this the night before multiple times so we could find the right spot in the song for me to start walking or to end the song.

I would pick what song best fits you and your FI instead of trying to fit you two into a song.  But, I think lyrics are perfectly okay.  Also makes for an easier cue that everyone will remember!

I'm walking down to Marry Me by Train. I'm in love with the song. The first time I heard it, I knew it was perfect. I tear up every time I hear it.

But like others have said, it's up to you and your fiance. Just like every other part of your wedding, fit it to you. Don't fit you to it. You didn't change yourself to fit your fiance so why try it with a song?

I'm sure whatever you eventually decide will be perfect for your day!
