Alterations Recs?

Hi Ladies,

Can you recommend who you're using for your bridal or bridesmaid dress alterations?  Near the Robinson area would be a bonus.  Thanks so much!

    Sewing Suite in Sewickley... very nice and reasonable. She's always able to accomodate my schedule. I'm having my dress altered there and 4 of my BM are taking their dresses there also.

    The seamstress from The Bridal Place in Finleyville lives in Robinson.  I'm not sure how she works (if she's directly tied to The Bridal Place or does side work) but I believe she does a lot, if not all, of the alterations at home.  I've never seen her work, either, but that's where my BM's bought their dresses and I believe a couple girls will be using her for alterations.

    Might be something to look into...

    Not near Robinson, but Clarissa's boutique on Carson St in the South Side was fantastic!! Long story, but they had to do some emergency alterations on my dress. They took pity on me and must have worked overtime to rebustle, re-hem, and steam my dress in just a few days. They were all so, so kind and all they asked was that I give them a good recommendation! :) Here it is! (again!)
