Middle Names on Invites

FI and I have middle names do these have  to be written out on the invitations?

  • They don't have to be.

It's up to your personal preference. We like ours, so we did.
  • I don't have a middle name, and I thought it looked weird with his on there and not one for me, so we left his off.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • Either way. Your preference.
  • We included ours.  I like my middle name.  It flows.  We just thought it sounded nice.

  • My first name is terrible, my middle name is terrible, my last isnt terrible but it's incredibly foreign sounding no one even bothers trying to pronounce it. My name is one disaster after another lol. That said, do what makes you happy. Middle names are not a requirement at all so you are free to leave them off. Haha ideally if I could have a nameless invitation for my wedding that would have been terrific.

I included my middle name and not my fianc's. I use my middle name and my first and last name are short so the lines on the invite looked better with my fiance's longer last name. I just think it's what you prefer. For my fianc I even put Steve instead of Steven on the invites because he hates being called Steven.
  • It is completely up to you. FI and I put our middle names on the invites because I like the way it sounded with our full names.
