Honeymoon Donations

Since it will be our second marriage, is it tacky to ask for honeymoon donations in lieu of gifts? We both have a lot of things already.

Just create a small registry and when people ask where you registered, you say 'Macys but we're saving for a honeymoon.' Also, this wouldn't be in lieu of gifts, since it is a gift.

I'm not registering. Most people will give money which we will use towards our honeymoon anyway.
