I hate my wedding invitations

My very artistic and creative best friend offered to make our wedding invitations as our gift.  Four months go by and she insists they are coming along but isnt done....the week they are suppossed to go out she sends me a picture and they are nothing like the pictures or how i told her. They look more like baby shower invitations.

What should i do?

  • Ditto PP - unless you think it's at all salvagable just scrap it.  And with the time it'd take to get them printed after a total re-design... Just go find some you like at Michael's
  • Be honest with her before she wastes her money to print them. If you can get away with telling her it's a time issue, that's great.

Go to Michael's with a 40% off coupon and print them this weekend.

Like others said, thank her for your time, but let her know they don't exactly match your personal vision of your invites.

There are also some Etsy sellers who will design a PDF that you could then take to Kinkos or OfficeMax or Office Depot and have printed as well.

And if you wanna bling them up or decorate them up yourself, that'd be easy enough to do with a stop by Michael's or Hobby Lobby or JoAnnes.

    Good luck!

Sorry your friend was so slow that you're now up against the clock.  :|
