Stone House - chairs!

I am looking into the Stone House (and the Ryland Inn) for my wedding. However, at the Stone House I have only seen gold chairs in the pictures. I am using whites, ivories, and greys/metallics for my colors (and I hate gold!). Does anyone know if they offer any other options??

Thanks!

Re: Stone House - chairs!

  • I looked there and don't believe they do. Most places have one type of chair and that's it. You could always rent different chairs - but that would obviously impact your budget. Most chairs are around $8-10 a piece to rent.

I'm getting married at the Ryland Inn next April and completly obsessed with it! The ballroom isn't even built yet, but I love it. The place is gorgeous and food is delicious.
  • Keep in mind that you can always do chair covers to cover them up. Chair covers (I believe florists can provide them) can be pricey, but it's an alternative option.
  • Honestly, I wouldn't even worry about this. This is such a minor detail. I have never been to a wedding where I thought "Wow, they should have invested in chair covers."  Although, I have been to weddings with chair covers and they slipped and I did notice that it was awkward.

  • I got married at the Stone House in October.  The chairs have a gold hint to them, but it's not too obvious.  As far as I know, those are the only chairs they offer.  Like PP said, you can rent different ones but that is not cheap.  Chair covers are another option.  In my pictures, I don't even think you can tell what color the chairs are, especially since we did purple uplighting.

We had gold chairs at our venue. Our colors were eggplant, silver and ivory. I was worried at first but PPs are right... You don't notice them. The room will be full of so much other stuff that its not worth the cost to change them out. You could google photos of receptions there to give u an idea of what it will look like.
