Where to buy suits for the wedding

Hello! I was wondering if anyone decided on using suits instead of tuxedos for their wedding? If so where did your groom/groomsman buy them?? I know a good suit can be costly. TIA!

Re: Where to buy suits for the wedding

  • The word you are looking for is "suit".

Try Joseph A Banks when they have a sale - a buy one, get 6 free type of thing. You can also try department stores (Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Nordstroms) or other stores such as Men's Warehouse.

It might be expensive, but I believe a tuxedo rental can be around $150 anyway, so you need to price it out and visit stores to see.

  • I apologize that the auto correct on my phone misspelled "suit" and I failed to realize it more than once. I didn't realize that would offend anyone but thanks for the advice.
  • My DH and his best an got amazing suits at men's warehouse. Was about $1500 for both, with all accessories and custom tailoring
  • I'll be wearing a suit instead of a tux.  I usually buy my suits at Jos A Bank and will probably go there.  Good quality at decent prices (sort of the rally cry for our wedding planning).
  • As a man, I just want to say that a "good suit" while costly is a good investment. Every grown man should own at least one good suit.

How about J. Crew? Relatively inexpensive suits and they're stylish.
  • My husband and groomsmen bought 3 piece suits from Mens Warehouse. Great deal!

Jos A Bank is WAY overpriced!
