Strip Tour Questions

We have the world-famous Todd booked for our wedding day, and will have approximately 2 hours for our strip tour between our ceremony and reception. We have an SUV booked to take us around.

How many locations do you think we could do in that time? Does Todd suggest locations? Where are you guys planning to go (or did you go)?

Re: Strip Tour Questions

  • Where is your wedding and reception?  Two hours will go by a lot faster than you think so you may want to limit your strip tour stops to areas close to where you're starting and ending.

If you care more about having a bunch of great high quality shots, I'd decrease the number of places you try to hit, while if you care more about having wedding photos in front a variety of locations, then you can increase the number of places but decrease the time per location.

For example, if the Vegas sign, Bellagio fountains and the Venetian grounds were all must have's, you might be at two hours even if you only spend fifteen minutes in each place just from the time of moving around, etc.  In contrast, you could make your tour start at Bellagio, take some pics inside in the Botanical Gardens, move out to the fountains and then walk next door to Cosmo to see if you can get some pics in the Chandelier Bar and lobby before they kick you out.  That would give you a lot more time per location.  Or maybe start at Mandalay, take some pics in the grand foyer (near Four Seasons entrance behind and to the right of Mandalay Bay check-in area), grab a quick pick at a slot machine and craps table, take some pics at valley of the falls if no wedding is going on, then move to Vegas sign to wrap up.

  • The Ceremony is at the Flamingo, reception is at NY NY. I'm thinking that we could grab a quick pic at at craps table/slot machine at either of those locations.

There are just too many locations that I am having a hard time deciding which ones to choose.

  • I'm doing the same, just not with todd, I was thinking of the Vegas Sign and the Eifel Tower and maybe either the fountains at Bellagio or Caesar's Palace

  • We used Todd for two hours as well and started off at the flamingo. Decided to go by foot because we planned on going to near by locations. We made it to Caesars, Paris, planet Hollywood, and bellagio. Todd has good ideas for good spots to take pictures so I'm sure hell help direct you.

  • We are also using Todd for the 2-hour tour. At first we wanted to stop at lots of spots but he suggested to narrow it down to 4/5 not far from each other. We are starting on the Vegas sign (ceremony) and we have a limo for 1 1/2 hours that will take us to NYNY, Paris and drop us at Bellagio, we'll walk from there to the Cosmopolitan (reception), hopefully we'll get to take some pictures there.
  • Hi

Please could you send me the link to this Tod guy for the tour? Sounds great. Thanks
  • Hi-I have been looking at Todd too! On my list is the Las Vegas sign, bellagio fountains, LOVE sign in mirage, chandelier bar at Cosmo and a gambling shot in Cosmo. I think this is plenty for 2 hours, I am considering 4 hours but think my FI would be a bit fed up after 4 hours.

Depending on time of day, 2 hours will not likely be enough to accomplish all of that.  Just going from valet or bus drop off/pick-up point at any strip resort to LV sign, hoping there is not a line, taking photos and making it back will likely consume 45 minutes.  Bellagio drop off point to front of fountains, time to pose for some pics, walk back is easily 30.  Walking from Bellagio to Cosmo interior, photos and back, another 30.
