Wynn photography rules

So I am in the process of finalizing all of our details for our November 9 , 2013 wedding. I have tried looking everywhere for more info on The Wynns photographer policies. I know they use cashman and they are the sole photographers for the ceremony, but if I have my reception at a restaurant can I have a different photographer for the reception? What about a different photographer going around the resort with us? The photo packages are ridiculous and the pricing is way out of budget!!! Any ideas or suggestions? Please help

from what they told me, they do NOT use cashman. I'm not booked with them (yet - maybe maybe not, have to wait until my scouting trip to find out), but the coordinator told me they have their own photography department. (they never mentioned cashman)

as for the reception, I only inquired about their buffet with the semi private room. and yes they said they DO allow outside photographer as long as he stays in the room and only photoshoots your guests

Perfect! I wonder if we can use an outside photographer around the resort...

Hey Girls.

Are you aware if guests are allowed to take photos inside the chapel (non-flash)

My friend has decided to get married at Wynn and I wasn't sure if I could take some sneaky photos?

My understanding is that Wynn DOES use Cashman for both pictures and video in their chapel:

However, last I had heard, which was a few months ago, you are able to pay an outside vendor fee of something around $700 to bring your own vendor in, which is very unlike most other Cashman monopoly resorts who have no option at all.

If you plan to take a lot of ceremony pics, it's unfortunately worth the fee because if you want a CD of all of your images, or you buy a bunch of prints, you'll spend way more than $700.

If their rules are similar to other Cashman resorts, guests can take photos during the ceremony but they are asked to remain seated and not use a flash; what are they going to do if a guest does something different than that though? lol

When I inquired about the having my ceremony and reception at Wynn last April (2012), I was told that I would have to use the Wynn photographers for both the ceremony AND reception.  At the time, we were looking into the Wynn ballrooms for the reception.  I was told I could not bring an outside photographer in at all.  Things may have changed (it was a year ago), but that is why we went with the Bellagio instead.  When I turned down Wynn, I told the folks at their Catering Department and the Chapel that the reason were were going elsewhere is because of the photography issue.

So I talked to the buffet/restaurant management as well as the wedding salons. I can have a photographer in the buffets semi private room and also take our photos throughout the hotel..... just not in the wedding salons/chapel!!!! I booked Joey Allen and I am soooo excited!!!
