Thursday
Sam’s Club
We went to Sam’s Club to buy drinks and cups for the Double Decker Bus (we bought beer, boxed wine, and juice and Captain Morgan).
Hussong’s Cantina @ Mandalay Bay A+++++++
We went there for our Bachelorette Dinner. I made reservations for 12 prior to arriving in Vegas. It was a lot smaller than I anticipated, but it was fun. The Mariachi Band was playing, food was great (it’s a lot of food – even appetizer portions are big), and the service was good as well.
PBR Bar & Grill @ Planet Hollywood B-
The guys went there for their Bachelor Dinner. My husband says food was okay, and the service was good. He says the DJ starts at 9pm but they left before.
My husband rode the bull there and has a HUGE bruise to proof it on his inner thigh
apparently they have a metal rod that sticks out so you don’t ride it long. He said he could have stayed on it if it wasn’t for the pain due to the rod.
The Bourbon Room @ The Venetian A+++++++
Well the first 2 hours were great – the music was good only draw back was the MC (or whatever he was) – as he talked a lot. Drinks are expensive! … hmmm the last two hours I spend inside The Venetian restroom – as I apparently drank a “little” too much too quick. I have to confess it was the worst experience EVER.

Friday
Double Decker Bus A+++++++
We rented it for 3 hours and had a blast (7pm-10pm). We were picked up at Planet Hollywood (side entrance to the Miracle Mile), went to the Las Vegas sign and then to Freemont Street. We stopped for 20-30 minutes at each stop. We had our Ipod hooked up and enjoyed every minute off it. Our guests loved to see the whole strip at night and loved Freemont Street. We dropped of the beer, boxed wine and Captain Morgan/Juice mixture the day before, gave Mike $10 for ice and everything was cold when they picked us up. The company is approximately 20-25 min off the strip – so you need a rental to get there-one day rental is probably cheaper than a cab.
Planet Hollywood Apex Suite A+++++++
I kept going to the registration desk starting at 3:30pm, but there was a huge line, so I kept putting it off as I had other stuff to do. I ended up checking in after the DDB tour (10:30pm). The suite (3051) was great – the view is fantastic. We reserved the one-bedroom suite. There is a small fridge and sink, and a small bar – like - counter in the suite.
