Addressing etiquette

No sure if this has been mentioned.

When addressing your invites is it proper to have the addresses written directly on the envelope or can you use a label?

Re: Addressing etiquette

  • Labels are considered poor etiquette for formal correspondence.  It is best to write directly on the envelope.

</div><div>Handwrite them.  If you absolutely cannot handwrite them (or have someone help you handwrite them), I would run the envelopes themselves through the printer with a nice font.  I hate labels and associate them with bulk (and usually) junk mail.
