Invites Under $100?

Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to buy invites under $100?  I've been looking at the all-in-one invites, but they are still pretty high.

Thanks!

Teresa

Re: Invites Under $100?

  • Well, I am not sure where you would be okay with...If you are wanting to order them, it will be hard to find much under $100 (at least from what I have seen where I live - Tennessee).  The only ones I could find for that price were completely plain.  If you are really on a budget like I am, you can even find boxes of invitations at Walmart.  The ones I have seen here are made by Wilton and usually there are 50 (sometimes just 25) in a box.  They are very reasonable, usually $20 a box. In the box will be the invitation, envelope, and reply card with small envelope.  You must print them yourself.  The only thing is they don't have the inner envelope for writing the names of those invited.

    Hope this helps.  Good luck!
  • I went to Michael's with a 50% of coupon (they are normally 40% but sometimes, normally close to holidays it seems..you can find 50% off ones) and got 30 Invites $25.

I will probably need a few additional. I had some of a different design that I got at Michaels on Clearence for $10 for 40 and they're very nice and will probably just use those  for the additional ones I need and send to the overseas people Im inviting that will most likely not attend. They're smaller and will be less expensive than the other ones.

You'll never be subject to a cash bar, gap, potluck wedding, or b-list if you marry a Muppet Overlord.

  • How many invitations do you need for that price?
  • Try this

The cheaper ones are plain but I like the simple look - You can also order samples for free so you can see the quality in person.

If you are going the DIY route then you can find them pretty cheap. I bought 150 invites for $52 (that's including shipping) from Joann Fabrics about 2 months ago. They are beautiful and will be very easy to assemble and print.

  • I bought mine off of amazon, a box of 50 outer envelopes, plain invite cards, ribbons, small cards (bi-fold), envelopes for them, and stickers for about $30.  It comes with enough stuff for out and inner envelopes to the invitation, or in my case where we are having a fairly low key casual wedding and a small guest list, invitations and thank you cards.  Yes they are print your own, but I am the creative type and enjoyed making my own.  They are really pretty IMO.
  • I got mine from Ann's Bridal Bargains.  75 invites, envelopes, response cards and pre-printed response card envelopes for ~$90.  If you want outer envelopes (that is, you want to be more formal), you can get outer envelopes at envelopes.com.  Those were maybe $30...and although it ended up being over $100, it could have been a lot more.
