52 days left and I'm starting to freak out!

I keep putting the small things off: I need to put together the bridesmaids bouquets, try to make my favor cookies (sample) to see if they can be done, frame my guestbook finger print tree, put together my outdoor signs... just seems like so much!

We are meeting with the caterer for the reherseal dinner on Saturday and then we are meeting with the organist and singer for our ceremony on Sunday! I have to get to get copies of the pictures we will be putting on our card box. Those are my focuses right now

Let's see. I need to make a few small changes to our ceremony then send it off to FI's cousin. We need to start finalizing music since we have that final meeting in a few weeks. I still need to get in contact with my florist about adding rose petals to my order.

We need to buy flower girl baskets, stuff to make our card box with, favors, picture frames for our table numbers that I need to make... I'm sure there's other stuff, that can't be it. I'm going to buy a "bride" hoodie to get ready in. I bought a embroidered button up shirt but I'm not sure if I really like it. 

My first dress fitting is a week from today, so I need to be on point with my eating and working out. 

We're still getting rsvp's rolling in almost everyday and about 2/3 of our entire guest list have rsvp'ed at this point, which is awesome. Hopefully soon I can start working on a seating chart. I guess I can start labeling place cards whenever really. 

We plan to go get our marriage license soon. We've been eligible to pick that up for a while now, it's nuts!

Annnnd, my shower was this past weekend. It was small, but very fun and wonderful. Very happy with how it turned out!

Next step is sending in the paper work for my aunt to be able to perform the ceremony and then getting the marriage license.  Working on a list of pics that I want.  Getting ready for my shower next weekend.

I mailed our invitations on Friday and we started getting RSVPs back yesterday!!

I've got about 2 hours worth of work left on our centerpieces and then those will finally be done. I have some free time on Friday evening, so I plan to finish them then.

I also did a rough draft of our programs this weekend. My fiance has a list of calls I asked him to make this week to a few of our vendors, and he's meeting up with a local bride on his way home from work tonight to buy some frames off of her. We'll use them to display some signage on the gift table, bar areas, etc.

It's supposed to be nice here on Sunday, so I'm hoping the forecast holds and I can get outside to get some stuff spray painted, like the frames for our table numbers.

Hopefully we will finish our music choices and print out programs this weekend. I also want to get started on planning the ceremony.

We've been getting lots of RSVP's in, about 3-5 everyday and I had my shower and bacheloretee party this past weekend, both were amazing and perfect!! I also had my first fitting on Monday, my next one is May 6.

We still have to get rings which is a big item I know but we've been putting it off bc its such a big chunk of change!

I'm working on the menu's and placecards this week and hoepfully this weekend can do the card box/birdcage (still haven't decided) bedazzle the flipflops for the BM's and finish the bow tie collar for our dog haha

Going to get some place cards from Michaels so I can start the calligraphy on those as the rsvp's come in. I'm halfway done with our card box, so hopefully I can get that finished up. FI and I are finishing our ceremony wording this weekend and finalizing ceremony music.

I just found out we get to leave early tomorrow and Friday, so I'm going to try to make an appt with the baker for tomorrow and leave early Friday for Toronto!

ETA: We've been getting exactly one rsvp per day in the mail. I think our mail carrier is messing with us. It's a conspiracy!

Invites, invites, invites! Everything has been late in our wedding so far. It's an honest shame. lol. Other than that paying my portion of the cake tonight (Dearest Big Brother is paying for the cake for us as a wedding gift. I'm a lucky little sister. ), and I get out of work early enough to visit the craft store and pick up supplies for the DIY flowers. So excited!

(Two are working around teacher schedules have to wait for the okay from their boss. One is working around time off from the military. They don't know if they'll have it yet. The last one is just being a butthead and are waiting to see if they have anything better to do. FMIL is going to talk to him about that, because that's kind of ridiculous lol.)

I've already had my dress fitted. That's done. 

We still have to get my wedding ring. I'm getting a 2mm white gold wedding band. 

We still have to take our engagement pictures.

Our flowers will be shipping as soon as my flower lady gets the check in the mail. It was sent out on Friday.

We're going to be getting our glass containers this week, because they're 50% off at Hobby Lobby.  

Hopefully there will be enough of them there when we go.

I still need to get my dresses for my showers. I don't know when I'm going to do that.

We still have to plan our party for our wedding party. I think we're doing that sometime in May, but I'm not sure when.

I have been working on invites for days.  Fi has managed to get about 20 addresses that I have been asking him for for about three months.  It's funny how he actually started asking people they actually started sending them, sigh.  I have all of mine addressed and ready to go, so I think I'm going to pop them in the mail today because I can't take it anymore!

I'm trying to finish up our ceremony, I really wanted to include a ring warming ceremony, but I don't think that's going to work with over 200 guests, so I am reluctantly cutting that out. 

We're heading out to our venue's open house this weekend to firm up details about alcohol and chairs.  I'm planning on giving them the check to pay off our balance (yay!).  We're going to stop by and have lunch at the restaurant where we're having our RD as well, since we've never been.  It was a kinda blind choice, since our first choice was booked.

FI got his passport, booked the honeymoon and ordered the guys' shoes.
I....called the cake person to find out about the cake stand and tried not to lose my mind otherwise.

My fiance and I will be in the same city this weekend (FINALLY...dang long-distance) so we will be working on ceremony/reception music, final touches on the invitations if they don't get done before Friday (and then finally mailing them), and probably working on a day-of timeline. We also need to start working on our programs, but we can't do that until we finalize our music choices for the ceremony. 

The 1st of 2 showers is on April 27th, so I've been helping my mom with little things here and there, but I'm ready for it to just be here so it is one less thing to stress about. Thankfully we are having it at a restaurant so we don't have to decorate or make food or anything. Just needed to put gift bags together and that's about it. 

I'll also be paying the remaining balance on our honeymoon most likely early next week (just waiting on my tax return) and then we'll have to make sure we have all the proper documents, etc. Thankfully we both were ahead of the game and got our passports quite a few months ago, so that is one less thing to fret about. Just want it to be paid off so it is one less thing to stress about.

We sent invitations on Friday, YAY! And I've received calls/texts of how nice they are, so that made me happy.  Now I just hope people send them in so I can start putting together the seating chart

The guys picked our their Tuxedo's on Saturday!!  My FI even let me and FSIL come along, but we were really at good at seeing at what he liked, and I'm so happy that he picked something I really had my eye on.  He was there with his brother and best friend and they were totally into it, so it was fun.  He picked the Vera Wang Dark Grey Tux, with the black satin.  He is wearing the matching grey vest with a purple tie and purple pocket square.  The GM and my dad will wear a purple vest, tie and pocket square.  My FI may even wear a lavendar shirt, but we could only rent a "white" shirt so that will be TBD.  On Sunday I found perfect purple socks to match too!  So excited.

Coming up-- my first dress fitting is on Friday!  and I have my shower on Sunday!!  So excited. 

and on a random note, I had chinese food for lunch and my fortune said "Focus on the color purple this week to bring you luck!"  I think I can do that
