Your church is rather plain, I'd agree. What about large bouquets on pedestals? I'd also suggest simple, contemporary candelabras with lots of lit candles. Oh, and a few bows on the end chairs. Do they allow an aisle runner?

I think they do. I am not totally sure. I wouldnt see why not though.  I have seen cute ideas from other brides and pinterest and stuff but I dont know if all that would look ok in this church.  I know all the attention should be on me and my fiance but this is just a little too plain!

Ditto.  I think that two pedestals with large bouquets would do a lot to liven up the space.  We did this at our space for just over $150.  I agree that an aisle runner would also brighten up the space.
  • Maybe pomanders from some of the aisle seats? That what we are doing and then will be reusing them as centerpieces for the tables.

  • Oh sweet, a blank canvas :) I'd agree on the bows, ribbons and flowers. Photos of you, your fiancé, and both of you together would be really nice. I definitely would check with the person/people in charge and see what you can and can't do in terms of decorations. For example, I can't nail anything to the walls in our venue.
  • @ jlafowler - What do you think about something like this? I found this link on Pinterest.
