Your relationship with your (F)MIL

I live closer to my FMIL than my own mom, so I see her more often. In the beginning I was terrified of her. I very much care what other people think of me and she has a very aggressive, type A personality. In the year and a half FI and I have been together I have learned to relax around her. We are starting to talk to each other more directly vs going through FI and and spend time occasionaly without FI. I am planning on inviting her to my first fitting. She is throwing my bridal shower and has been amazing throughout the wedding planning. I'm so excited to see how our relationship grows even closer through the years!
