Kleinfeld brides: 2 fittings or 3?

Hi guys,

I am going for my second fitting on Saturday, and it just occurred to me that they may want me to bring the dress home if nothing else needs to be done. I was under the assumption I would have a third fitting, but now I'm not sure. I need to know bc it will determine if I take my car in, or take the train. Did you guys have 2 fittings or 3?

I wasn't a Kleinfeld bride but I only had two fittings.  The first was to note the necessary adjustments and decide on a bustle.  The second was to make sure everything they fixed worked and nothing else needed to be done.  Since my dress was perfect at the second fitting I took it home.

There is no reason to have a third fitting if everything with your dress has been fixed/fitted.

When I ordered my dress at kleinfelds they said 2 to 3 depending on what needs to be done. Call and ask them.

I had three fittings. After the third they had to steam it and prepare it for travel so I picked it up the next day. So no matter what you won't be taking it home that day unless you don't want it steamed.
