Are there any web sites that sell real not knock off gowns? Any suggestions?

Websites of other US stores. David's Bridal, J Crew, Bloomingdales... Is there a reason you want an online site? It generally helps to try dresses on.

There are also discount stores like Pearl's Place, which is a US-based store, but I believe you have to call them, not go online.

There are legitimate US stores that allow you to order online through websites: rkbridal.com; bestbridalprices.com; houseofbrides.com are a few.  Key is that they have a real store in the US and are authorized retailers of the brands they sell.

I thought people were not supposed to promote businesses but every post on this board says pearls place this and net bride that. Is the knot owned by pearls place and net bride and rk or am I missing something here? This is really fishy....

No.  A lot of brides here have just had very good luck with both of those places and pearls place and netbride are two of the few legit dress discounters out there.  the vast majority are knockoffs.

Simplybridal.com is an online store that I bought my dress from.  They do not sell designers, to my knowledge, all the dresses are their own designs.  You can sort their dresses by sleeve length on the site.
