1 year mark!

WooHoo! We've officially hit one year to go till our wedding (5/2/14)!  Been planning since last year, so we've already crossed off half of our to-do list so far - thank god!  Coming up this month I've got meetings with some florists & then wedding dress shopping (yippie!)!

Congrats!!! its so exciting!!! Funny thing, yesterday I was scheduling an appt for later in the month and say the "24th" and I got full of nervous butterflies to a point of nausea!!! I cant imagine how I am going to be on the day of!!!! btw....I have plans to go to the venue on the 24th ( yr mark) to see where the sun is to gauge it for next year!! So anal!!!! I will probably throw up!!!! :0

Thank you! And congrats to you as well!  I know how you feel- I went to our venue too on that day so I could see how it might look next year & took some photos.  We're getting married in a botanical garden so I wanted to see what the flowers might look like and all. I'm just soooo glad the weather here in NY has gotten warmer & sunny-er so I have high hopes for good weather next year!  I just went wedding dress shoppng today (for the 1st time!) and that is also a big help to make it seem much more real!  Good luck to you!!

AH...NY! My oldest lives in Manhattan! weayher must be beautiful! Spring! How did you make out gown shopping?

Dress shopping was actually pretty fun and not as strefful as I expected it to be!  My parents & my MOH came with me.  Found 3 dresses that we all liked, one of which was the top fav between us all - it was actually on my list but I had crossed it off cuz the picture online didn't do it justice in person but when I saw another girl in the shop wearing it I knew I had to try it on! Didn't buy a dress, as it was my first time shopping & trying things on I wanna go to a different store to see if they would put anything different on me than what I just tried on to make sure that one I really like is "the one". Have you gone shopping for your dress yet?
