These 2 things are starting to stress me out! Photographers are CRAZYYYYY expensive! And I don't even know where to start with the florist! Anybody have any words of wisdom or suggestions??

Photographer: Studio1923!! Jerome is a fantastic photographer, and he's so much more. He's helpful in a hundred tiny ways at your wedding, and gets the perfect shots. We were so comfortable with him.

Florist: Stylish Blooms! She's extremely affordable, very friendly and definitely knows her flowers. She books up REALLY fast though, so check her out soon!

We are using Eric Brushett as our photgrapher. He is pretty budget friendly. For flowers, we are using Rosa's Florist on Main Street in Bridgeport. Maria was great and gave lots of suggestions because I had no idea what I really wanted. She really helped narrow down my vision. We just went to see a sample of the centerpieces and it was gorgeous. We know someone spending ALOT of money for a wedding in Westport, and they used Rosas Florist too. So she was able to meet our smaller budget yet satisfy a larger budget.

Were using Michael Dzienis photography and Rosas florist and they are both extremely reasonable

We used reflections by kari as our photographer. Kari was great and her package was reasonable too. We love our photos!

Also, ditto stylish blooms. Our flowers looked amazing and Melissa had great ideas for our budget.

As for a florist I didnt pick out mine my mom did so i really dont know pricing but I am using Orourke & Birch in Waterbury....and she is also my JP...she is great

Photography is very expensive.  My package is out there.  However, the florist I gave my Florist a budget and his quote was $100 less than our budget.  Just to give you an idea his quote was $1100, for two bride bouquet, 5 BMs, 2 Mom corsages, 8 boutonnieres, petals for the flower girl, 8 centerpieces (he's lending the vases unless I buy them on my own), decorations for the ceremony and escort table, and votive candles.  Considering almost every where I went it was 2 to 3 times as much I found his work and price great. Note I went very simple, nothing over the top.

Echo on the Krista/Truth Be Told recommendation; we are using her in September and she's very inexpensive.

I used John LoConte johnlophoto.com and he was wondeful! Packages start at $1500. Our wedding was May 4th and he just emailed me that the pics are finished! I would highly recommend!

I chose Branch & Bloom. The prices were very reasonable and I really liked my consultation! I can't wait to see my flowers!

Hands down, best decision we made was to book with Melissa from Stylish Blooms!!
We did book her about a year and half out but everything she created was stunning for our wedding. Affordable, professional, reliable, creative genius, we loved our experience!

Not only did she work on the typical bouquets, corsages, centerpieces, etc, she really helped us design many other key features. I wanted a really beautiful memory tree to honor our family members who have passed and she nailed it, we are still getting compliments on that design element.

Yes, she does book up early, but it doesn't hurt to call her and set up a consultation to see if she has availability!

I chose CMC Photography for my photographer (CMCPHOTO.NET) I absolutely LOVE my photographer. She has a great personality and did a fabulous job on our engagement photos!

 

For Florist I chose The flower girl in southington. Shes so nice and so inexpensive! I'm doing my whole wedding (ceremony, boutineeres, bouquets, and reception for under 1,000)

Our photographer is RAW photo design, but due to a tragic and unforseen situation, they will not be shooting our wedding in 17 days.  I am not sure who are replacement will be yet, but RAW is managed by Carla Ten Eyck so I am confident whoever they get for us will do a great job. For flowers we are using Melissa from Stylish Blooms.  She is great, and can work within any budget.
