Brookfield photo locations

I am getting married in October of this year, and I have no idea where to go to have photos taken.  We are getting married at a hotel, and it has a courtyard, but I would like something a little more.  I know of the Dousman Stagecoach Inn, but my cousin had her photos taken there less than a year ago, and I don't want to copy her.  Any ideas?  Thank you!

    Call your photographer and ask.

October can be really touchy weather-wise for outdoor photos (cold, rainy, poor light, etc). Your photographer should have the experience to know good indoor and outdoor locations you can get to easily from your venue.
  • I am getting married in October and the reception is at a hotel in Brookfield.  We are trying to find somewhere too!

I don't get why everyone is so afraid to ask their photographers for opinions. Each photographer has different preferences and may also charge extra to travel to all of these places to "take pictures".

You don't need some fancy place to take pictures. We took them outside our church in the grassy area and some inside and outside of our reception hall. NBD.
  • I'm not afraid to ask.  I just don't want to go to her empty handed.  I'd like to have some ideas before hand, so we can discuss things instead of just saying "I don't know...".  (And, yes.  I am saying that in the stereotypical dumb blond, hair twirling manner.)
  • There is the beautiful garden area at Frame Park (the Riverwalk) in Waukesha and also the Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners.....
  • You have to pay for a permit to take pictures at Boerner FYI
