pet peeve - those motorized scooters.
story #1 - i don't mind them, actually. they are a help for a lot of poeple. and when the aisles are nice and luxuriously wide, they aren't in the way.
but i have to go shopping either very early or very late in the day to avoid the random people using them who have no business using them. i recently got stuck in an aisle behind a husband and wife team, who both looked like they wer ein their 40's, each using a store scooter. they were trying to cut each other off. now, i don't know what their disabilities were because they seemed able-bodied, so i assume they used the scooters because they needed them. but if you have the capacity to play bumper scooters in the store, you have no business riding them around for free.
#2- today, it's raining. someone returned their motorized scooter back into the store after bringing their groceries to the car with it, and left it sitting about a foot away from the door entrance. you had to kind of dip dodge dive duck and dodge to avoid it when walking in. the thing got stuck on the carpet at the entrance and just left it there. i also cannot believe that i was the only person who noticed this and said anything to a worker, including other workers who had no idea there was a scooter blockign the entrance.
again, another person who had no business using the free store scooter.
